IN THE BEGINNING — We saw a need.

A whole generation of tired, disconnected people, stuck to their screens because they didn't have the time or energy to do anything anymore. Things were changing fast. So—compulsively, stupidly, bravely—we created a solution: we built a foundation that makes things easier on people, starting from the ground up.

• March 26, 2026 — Official Foundation (MEANING BEGINNING;) We officially incorporate as Hope Lives On Recovery Rd., earning our recognized federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status to give our community a permanent, uncompromised "foundation" or "place to start from."

• Today — We are facilitating a safe place.

A clean, dry, and fully accessible space for everyone. This is a place where our community can simply be a community again—where you can check your worries at the door. Our sanctuary will host dance, music, woodwork, community gardening, and most importantly, face-to-face kindness.

CHECKPOINT #1: OCTOBER 1st, 2026

Securing professional web hosting and targeted marketing for Hope Lives On Art. This milestone ensures our local creators gain the digital visibility, platform security, and reaching power they deserve to thrive independently.

CHECKPOINT #2: MARCH 2027

Breaking Ground & Community Learning: We aim to have our primary community sanctuary structure raised and to officially break ground on our community garden. Moving forward, the build site itself will become our classroom. We will begin hosting public workshops directly from the site, collecting continuous community input on the layout, and launching our cooperative skill-sharing program where neighbors contribute their time and talents to build this space together.

CHECKPOINT #3: OCTOBER 2027

Community Harvest & Barn Raising: We will host our official autumn barn raising to finalize the main sanctuary structures, alongside celebrating our first full community garden harvest. This milestone launches our fully facilitated educational season, featuring hands-on classes hosted by skilled professionals. Activities will center on heritage skill preservation, winter preparation networks, tool-sharing programs, and cooperative community shifts where neighbors exchange practical knowledge and support to get everyone ready for the winter ahead.

CHECKPOINT #4: DECEMBER 2027

Transitioning Leadership & Replicating the Blueprint

By the winter of 2027, the sanctuary will transition to a fully self-sustaining, community-led model as our founder begins phasing out of daily operations to replicate this blueprint in a new state. We will officially appoint a dedicated local Site Manager to maintain our community-voted programming, ensuring local sovereignty and long-term continuity.

With the Missouri model fully established, our founder will scout a new region to teach others how we built this from the ground up—empowering new communities to launch their own independent resilience hubs.

CHECKPOINT #5: MARCH 2028

Permaculture Integration & Cooperative Eco-Tourism

Spring of 2028 marks the lodge's first full season operating under local, community-appointed leadership. At this milestone, our focus officially shifts to:

• Permaculture & Year-Round Food Security: Deepening our commitment to soil health, regenerative land management, and establishing permanent food forests so that the lodge grounds consistently feed the community.

• Cooperative Eco-Tourism: Putting our shared heritage and lodge-building skills into practice by launching guided eco-tours and local nature programming to bring sustainable, community-driven economic support to the area.

CHECKPOINT #6: DECEMBER 2028

The National Movement & Replicating the Blueprint

By the winter of 2028, this initial site stands as our official, fully realized proof of concept. Having successfully established a self-sustaining, community-led sanctuary backed by local agriculture and independent commerce, we are ready to scale.

Armed with deep experience, proven metrics, and expanded resources, our founder will officially break ground in a secondary state—taking this exact framework to a new region and teaching communities nationwide how to build their own independent resilience hubs from the ground up.
